About
Kiszkiloszki a.k.a. keesh-kee-losh-kee: animator, musician, and misanthrope. Self-taught.
Creator of numerous artistic projects, short films and viral gifs since the early 2010s, including The Death Fairy Tales, Cinéma du Kiszki, Heresies, Bug the Misanthrope, and Art History Classes, to name a few. I named them all. Kiszkiloszki has collaborated with brands and cultural institutions, directly and indirectly popularizing the creative use of public domain materials and digital libraries. His solo works and collaborative projects have been featured in exhibitions and film festivals worldwide. Currently, Kiszkiloszki focuses exclusively on creating auteur short animated films. Although his work is often seen as amusing and entertaining, for the artist, dark humor has always leaned much more toward "dark" than "humor".
Kiszkiloszki’s long-standing interest in new media led him to join the digital art scene associated with the infamous NFTs and very bad crypto bros. Since 2020, he has been exploring new ways of distributing and collecting digital and net-native art across multiple blockchains (and thinks you should too).
Currently, in addition to digital art, films, and music, Kiszkiloszki creates giclée prints and produces stickers in his own art studio. All of this and more is likely to inspire further exploration in the field of physical art, suggesting a bright future for this multi-talented artist, even if he feels really weird writing about himself in the third person.
